the chemistry behind DeckSpray™

DeckSpray™ is a system which includes a number of SprayBuilt^® products.  Typically, a primer is used to penetrate and condition the substrate in preparation for a basecoat to be applied.  The basecoat is a polyurea hybrid which has the physical characterisitcs to absorb dimensional changes in the substrate, joint movement and impact from traffic load.  The 60 mil DFT basecoat provides a flexible supportive surface for the cosmetic topcoat.  The aliphatic polyurea topcoat is applied 30 mil DFT and provides an aesthetically pleasing, abrasion resistant, slip-resistant and color stable finish.
