Trafflex™ is superior to polyurethanes and epoxies which are usually batch-mixed and then roller-applied. These materials are often diluted with industrial solvents, slowing the chemical reactivity to increase potlife and working time. Mixing additional solvent into polymer formulations weakens performance and decreases the coating's resistance to moisture by as much as 50%. Even worse, some traffic deck coatings are single component materials which have the weakest physicals and lowest overall performance of all protective coatings.

With Trafflex™, the application process is mechanically metered, mixed and sprayed through a plural component spray-system. Applicators are properly trained and pre-qualified to install the material. Also, inspection is an important part of the quallity control process.
