SB-900 Privolex™

SB-900 Privolex™ is a slow-cure, 100% solids, polyurethane primer containing no VOC.  SB-900 is a plural component product. Side A is an isocyanate and side B is a polyol mixed at a 1:1 ratio by volume.  SB-900 can be catalysed and the reaction time becomes noticeably less resulting in a faster-setting primer, especially in hotter weather.  This material should be warm during application to decrease viscosity for best results.

SB-900 was developed to provide a variable speed, ultra-low-viscosity primer for both porous and non-porous surfaces. Privolex™ penetrates deeply into porous surfaces creating excellent bond with low dry film thickness that reduces pin-holing effects caused by off-gassing and surface air displacements. Privolex™ contains no solvents and is therefore compatible with EPS foam board and moisture cure caulks.  It is sprayable through plural component equipment, conventional airless equipment and can be batch-mixed and then roller-applied.
